Robert Ziegler got his start hunting at a young age with his father and never looked back.
At forty-four years of age and with over thirty years of hunting experience under his belt Rob makes sure to get Outdoors at every chance he gets.
Rob grew up on the St. Lawrence River, hunting duck and geese until he enlisted into the Canadian army at nineteen. While serving he was able to tour all over the country, hunting everything from waterfowl to caribou as he went.
Rob retired from the service in ’95 and moved to Moose Creek, Ontario with his wife and son. In ’98 they were blessed with a little girl, who is eagerly following in her father’s footsteps.
Ever since he moved back Rob’s been guiding for geese with various other outfitters before starting MC Hunt Club in ’08. Between hunting turkey in the spring, waterfowl in the fall, and whitetails in the winter Rob’s out in the fields easily over a hundred days out of the year.
Not only does Rob guide goose hunts for clients, but also brings the next generation of hunters into the field with Delta Waterfowl’s Youth Mentor hunt, teaching the kids the ropes and getting them into the sport.
“It’s not just about shooting birds,” he says, “it’s about giving people something they’ll keep with them for the rest of their lives.”

My name is Jason Hillier.
I grew up in the small fishing community of Wheatley , located in South-Western Ontario.
I was introduced to the outdoors at a very young age. I got my start with a BB gun at the age of 5 and began shooting all sorts of birds and frogs. I spent most of my younger years in the creek bottoms, spear fishing for carp, catching turtles and craw dads.
I started hunting as soon as I could get my license, at the age of 15 and was hooked from the start. To this day I still lose sleep thinking about hunts or decoys or calls.
I am an avid angler and hunter and jump at the chance to do either whenever I get the opportunity.
I have had the opportunity to hunt in Alberta, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and New Brunswick all due to my Career in the Canadian Army. I can honestly say that the hunting here is right on par with any Western Fly Way action.
I have an amazing dog that works tirelessly. I am also very lucky to have such an understanding woman in my life who allows me all the time in the world to follow my dreams. Thanks Lind’s.

My name is Andre Martin.
My grandfather and father exposed me to hunting at a very young age. They’d bring me along with them whenever they took to the fields, bush, or water.
That early morning rush of excitement as we gathered our gear to head off into the wilderness and the thrill of the hunt left a lasting impression that I’d carry with me for the rest of my life.
I was born and bred in Cornwall, the easternmost city in Ontario, right on the St. Lawrence River.
I still live there today, along with my loving wife and three kids.
I’ve known Rob since childhood. He and I grew up together.
My father would always bring him along with us whenever to went to go fishing or hunting and it’s a pleasure to be able to take to the fields with him again years later.
